So here’s the thing- culturally responsive teaching is just good teaching. Joyful and inclusive practices are just good practices. The research shows that this is what works. Ultimately, what our district leaders, families, and state representatives want is high-performing schools. We’re going to help you get there. Even if we have to do some problem solving around messaging. This work isn’t just for districts that embrace equity- it’s for everyone.
Where there’s a will there’s a way! I’ve worked with schools who have secured grants, used Title 1 funding, fund raised, garnered support from the PTA- you name it. Whatever your budget is, I’m confident we can find a package that will suit your needs. We can’t let tight funds get in the way of what’s best for our kids- we will find a solution together!
We’re all about impact and transformation at Deonna Smith Consulting, meaning our team will work to ensure that the learning lasts! Depending on which package you select we offer a variety of follow-up options. From “tune-up” training, coaching, virtual follow-up, and multi-year partnerships, we seek to support our clients long-term!
All of our learning experiences include support materials! We offer guided notes, organizers, reflection guides, and journals for our sessions so that participants are able to reference the learning that took place during sessions again and again.

Investing in a copy of Rooted in Joy will deepen the learning that takes place during the session and provide participants with even more resources to ensure that the strategies they’re learning are highly applicable to the classroom!
